Welcome to Dolci’s website! The purpose of this website is to be a record of Dolci’s past and present. On this website, we hope to post records of our special dinners and unite the websites of years past. More info on Dolci below! Bon appétit!

Dolci is Middlebury’s student run restaurant. Nearly every Friday, we open our doors to 80 students for a free multi course dining experience in Atwater Dining Hall. The food and service are all prepared and run by Middlebury students. We are supported and sponsored by Middlebury Dining Services and the Student Activities Fund.

Dolci was created over ten years ago in the winter of 1998, Jill Santopietro (‘99), a crew of excited new members, and Richard O’Donohue’s Chateau kitchen staff. Today, we work closely with Atwater Dining staff to deliver a delicious dining experience. Dolci is now known as one of Middlebury College’s most unique attributes and attending or working a Dolci is on the college bucket list of many Middlebury students.

As a member of Dolci, students have the option of being a prep cook, a head chef, a waiter, or a diner! Our mission as a club is twofold. We strive to be an active and instructive culinary presence on campus and a valuable and enjoyable service to Middlebury students. We aim to share with our club members the joys of cooking, serving others, and eating. Our primary goal is to deliver a fun dinner filled with culinary creativity, the sharing of cultures and memories, good food and service.

We open our doors to everyone on the Middlebury campus. Whether you want to show off or develop your cooking skills, learn how to serve or cook, or simply enjoy the fruits of our labor, we’d love to have you at Dolci.
